On 29th January, a delegation from the French Company Innovative Diagnostics, led by CEO Mr. Philippe Pourquier, visited SHVRI and a symposium was held, the meeting was chaired by Cheif Scientist of Food Safety Research of Animal Origin Team, Prof. Xiangan HAN.

Prof. Han warmly welcomed the delegation and presented the team's core technologies diagnostic, products and also showcased latest advances in novel detection methods for pathogens like Avibacterium paragallinarum and Riemerella anatipestifer.
Senior Cheif Scientist Prof. Chen Zhaoguo added the needs for controlling zoonotic parasitic diseases and introduced the latest diagnostic products for cryptosporidiosis, calf diarrhea, echinococcosis/hydatid disease, and other foodborne parasitic diseases.
Mr. Philippe Pourquier expressed his intent to deepen bilateral cooperation in technology transfer and product development, focusing on major diseases affecting cattle and sheep, guided by market needs, and targeting core products like brucellosis diagnostic kits. The shared objective is to jointly promote the commercialization of scientific achievements for mutual benefit.

Commercial Director of Innovative Diagnostics Ms. Anna Greatax, R&D Scientist Dr. Etienne Pourquier, Export Sales Manager for Asia Ms. Huizhen Xu, and representatives from its Chinese branch attened the meeting.
