Recently, The 2025 New Student Orientation Training Session were held successfully. Deputy Director Li Zejun attended the meeting and delivered a speech, while the session was chaired by Jiang Wei, Deputy Director of the Scientific Research Department.

Li Zejun extended a warm welcome to all new students and put forward three earnest expectations: first, to strengthen discipline awareness and solidify the foundation of scientific research; second, to focus on academic study and forge core competitiveness; and third, to uphold academic integrity and safeguard the lifeline of research. He emphasized the importance of "following rules, diligent study, and maintaining integrity" in scientific work, encouraging students to contribute their wisdom and strength to the innovative development of SHVRI.

During the training session, Jiang Yifeng, Director of the Scientific Research Office, introduced SHVRI's development history, research capabilities, and achievements in technology transfer, helping new students gain a clearer understanding of their research direction and prospects. Subsequently, various functional departments conducted training sessions on confidentiality awareness, cybersecurity, shared instrument platform usage guidelines, laboratory animal center management requirements, laboratory biosafety, workplace safety, financial management policies, and graduate training procedures. These sessions laid a solid foundation for the new students to adapt to the research environment and carry out their work.

The participating students expressed their commitment to keeping these exhortations in mind, dedicating themselves to their studies and research with full enthusiasm, and contributing their youthful energy to SHVRI’s scientific innovation and development.
